चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

अपूजयन् महात्मानो ब्राह्मणास्तं महाबलम् | इदमाहुस्तदा चैव स्कन्दं तत्र महर्षय:,महामना ब्राह्मणोंने महाबली स्कन्दकी पूजा की और सब महर्षियोंने वहाँ आकर उनका इस प्रकार स्तवन किया
apūjayan mahātmāno brāhmaṇās taṃ mahābalam | idam āhus tadā caiva skandaṃ tatra maharṣayaḥ ||
Darauf ehrten die großherzigen Brahmanen jenen Gewaltigen. Und zu jener Zeit sprachen die dort versammelten großen Weisen Skanda mit Worten des Lobes an.
