विवेश कवचं चास्य शरीरे सहजं तथा । युध्यमानस्य देवस्य प्रादुर्भवीति तत् सदा,तथा उन स्कन्ददेवके शरीरमें सहज (स्वाभाविक) कवचका प्रवेश हो गया, जो सदा उनके युद्ध करते समय प्रकट होता था
viveśa kavacaṃ cāsya śarīre sahajaṃ tathā | yudhyamānasya devasya prādurbhavīti tat sadā ||
Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: „Und in seinen Leib trat ein natürliches, angeborenes Panzerkleid ein. Diese Rüstung erschien stets von selbst, sooft der Gott im Kampf stand.“
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights the idea of divinely granted, innate protection: when a righteous or divinely purposed battle arises, safeguarding power manifests naturally, emphasizing confidence in dharmic strength rather than mere external equipment.
Mārkaṇḍeya describes a boon or inherent attribute of the god (understood as Skanda): an inborn armor enters/abides in his body and reliably appears whenever he fights, marking him as supernaturally protected in combat.
