Indra sprach: „O Göttin, welche Art von Stärke wird dein Gemahl besitzen? O Tadellose, ich wünsche dies aus deinem eigenen Mund zu hören.“
युधिषछ्िर उवाच
The verse highlights a dharmic mode of inquiry: even when asking about power and prowess, the question is framed with respect and moral regard, addressing the woman as “aninditā” (blameless), implying that truth and virtue are to be sought through courteous, ethically mindful speech.
Indra addresses a देवी (lady/goddess) and asks her to describe the future strength or prowess of her husband, requesting to hear it directly from her—setting up a revelation or characterization of the husband’s qualities.
