पञ्चमहाभूतगुण-इन्द्रियनिग्रह-उपदेशः | Teaching on the Qualities of the Five Elements and Sense-Control
उत्तड्ुक उवाच पर्याप्तो मे वरो होष यदहं दृष्टवान् हरिम्
uṭaṅka uvāca paryāpto me varo hoṣa yad ahaṃ dṛṣṭavān harim
Uṭaṅka sagte: „O Hōṣa, die Gabe genügt mir, denn ich habe Hari geschaut.“ In sittlichem Ton erklärt er, das höchste „Geschenk“ sei die unmittelbare Schau des Göttlichen, sodass weitere weltliche Belohnungen entbehrlich werden.
उत्तड्ुक उवाच
True fulfillment lies in the vision of the divine (Hari); once that highest aim is attained, additional boons or material rewards become secondary.
Uṭaṅka addresses Hoṣa and declines further reward, stating that he is already satisfied because he has seen Hari.
