Dharma-vyādha’s Analysis of Moral Decline and the Mahābhūta–Guṇa Schema (धर्मव्याधोपदेशः)
रक्षितारं च राजानं ब्राह्मणं च तपस्विनम् । अभिगम्याभिपूज्याथ सद्यः पापात् प्रमुच्यते
rakṣitāraṃ ca rājānaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ ca tapasvinam | abhigamyābhipūjyātha sadyaḥ pāpāt pramucyate ||
Yudhiṣṭhira sprach: Wer sich einem König nähert, der seine Untertanen schützt, und einem Brahmanen, der der Askese hingegeben ist, und beide gebührend ehrt, wird sogleich von Sünde befreit. Der Vers betont, dass Ehrfurcht vor rechtmäßiger weltlicher Schutzgewalt und wahrer geistiger Zucht das Handeln läutert und die Übereinstimmung mit dem Dharma wiederherstellt.
युधिछिर उवाच
Respectful approach and sincere honoring of two pillars of dharma—just royal protection of society and authentic ascetic-spiritual discipline—has purificatory power, freeing one from sinful taint and reorienting one toward righteous living.
