युधिष्ठिरस्तु कौन्तेयो बभूवास्वस्थचेतन: । अनिष्टदर्शनान्‌ घोरानुत्पातान्‌ परिचिन्तयन्‌,उधर कुन्तीनन्दन युधिष्ठिर अनिष्टसूचक भयंकर उत्पातोंको देखकर बड़ी चिन्तामें पड़े। वे व्याकुल हो गये

Yudhiṣṭhiras tu Kaunteyo babhūvāsvasthacetanaḥ | aniṣṭadarśanān ghorān utpātān paricintayan ||

Doch Yudhiṣṭhira, Kuntīs Sohn, wurde innerlich unruhig. Als er schreckliche Vorzeichen sah, die Unheil verhießen, verfiel er in ängstliches Nachsinnen und wurde tief erschüttert.
