निवातकवचवधः — Arjuna’s Neutralization of the Nivātakavacas

दक्षिणस्यां दिशि यमं प्रत्यपश्यं व्यवस्थितम् । वरुणं देवराजं च यथास्थानमवस्थितम्,दक्षिण दिशाकी ओर दृष्टिपात करनेपर मुझे साक्षात् यमराज खड़े दिखायी दिये। वरुण और देवराज इन्द्र भी क्रमश: पश्चिम और पूर्व दिशामें यथास्थान खड़े हो गये
dakṣiṇasyāṃ diśi yamaṃ pratyapaśyaṃ vyavasthitam | varuṇaṃ devarājaṃ ca yathāsthānam avasthitam ||
Als ich meinen Blick nach Süden wandte, sah ich Yama selbst dort stehen, bereit zum Handeln. Varuṇa und Indra, der König der Götter, waren ebenso an ihren rechten Plätzen aufgestellt — ein jeder in der ihm zugewiesenen Himmelsrichtung.
