Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the ordered hierarchy and harmony of the divine realm: even powerful deities and attendants assemble in due place and time. Ethically, it underscores reverence for rightful authority (Indra as Mahendra) and the idea that greatness is accompanied by service and disciplined participation in a larger cosmic order.

Arjuna describes a grand celestial gathering: hosts of the Maruts arrive in divine vehicles, along with Indra’s attendants and residents of Indra’s heavenly abode, converging at the scene being narrated.
