Arjuna meets the Lokapālas, is tested by Indra, and is led to Amarāvatī for astra-śikṣā
Indraloka-gamana
एवमेतदनिर्देश्यं मार्गमावृत्य भानुमान् । पुन: सृजति वर्षाणि भगवान् भावयन् प्रजा:
evam etad anirdeśyaṃ mārgam āvṛtya bhānumān | punaḥ sṛjati varṣāṇi bhagavān bhāvayan prajāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „So bringt der Sonnengott, nachdem er jenen unaussprechlichen Lauf am Himmel verhüllt hat, erneut die Regen hervor und erhält und nährt alle Geschöpfe. Durch seine geordnete Bewegung und das Verbergen seines Pfades regelt er die Jahreszeiten, damit die Lebewesen getragen werden—Kühle, Hitze und Regen kommen, jedes zur rechten Zeit.“
