Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
तमापतत्तं वेगेन प्रभिन्नमिव वारणम् | वत्सदन्तैस्त्रिभि: पाश्वे भीमसेन: समार्दयत्,मदकी धारा बहानेवाले गजराजकी भाँति मणिमानको बड़े वेगसे आता देख भीमसेनने वत्सदन्त नामक तीन बाणोंद्वारा उनकी पसलीमें प्रहार किया
tam āpatattaṁ vegena prabhinnam iva vāraṇam | vatsadantaiḥ tribhiḥ pārśve bhīmasenaḥ samārdayat ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Als Bhīmasena sah, wie Maṇimān mit großer Wucht heranstürmte—wie ein mächtiger Elefant im Musth—traf er ihn in die Flanke mit drei Pfeilen namens Vatsadanta und hemmte so seinen Ansturm im Hitze des Kampfes.
