Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
ततः क्षिप्तमिवात्मान द्रौपद्या स परंतप: । नामृष्यत महाबाहु: प्रहारमिव सद्भव:
tataḥ kṣiptam ivātmānaṃ draupadyā sa parantapaḥ | nāmṛṣyata mahābāhuḥ prahāram iva sadbhavaḥ ||
Da konnte jener Feindeverbrenner, als hätte Draupadī ihn beiseite geworfen, es nicht ertragen—wie ein edler Mann, der einen Schlag nicht hinnehmen kann. Der Augenblick stach ihn wie eine Kränkung der Ehre, und sein Selbstgefühl erhob sich zum Widerspruch.
