अपि चोक्तो मया वीरो यदि पश्येब॑हृन्यपि । तानि सर्वाण्युपादाय शीघ्रमागम्यतामिति,द्रौपदी बोली--राजन्! आज जो सौगन्धिक पुष्प वायु उड़ा लायी थी, उसे मैंने प्रसन्नतापूर्वक भीमसेनको दिया और उन वीरशिरोमणिसे यह भी कहा कि “यदि इसी तरहके बहुत-से पुष्प तुम्हें दिखायी दें, तो उन सबको लेकर शीघ्र यहाँ लौट आना”
api cokto mayā vīro yadi paśyeb bahūny api | tāni sarvāṇy upādāya śīghram āgamyatām iti ||
Und ich wies jenen Helden auch an: „Wenn du noch viele dieser Blumen erblickst, nimm sie alle an dich und kehre schnell zurück.“
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even a seemingly harmless desire (for rare, beautiful objects) can propel others into danger; ethical awareness lies in recognizing how requests and attachments may create consequences, and in balancing wish with responsibility.
Draupadī describes giving Bhīma a saugandhika flower brought by the wind and telling him that if he sees many more, he should collect them and return quickly; Vaiśampāyana frames this as reported speech within the forest-exile narrative.
