वैशम्पायन उवाच
Steady remembrance of a righteous and exalted ideal (here, Rāma’s greatness and effective power) strengthens resolve and keeps one’s actions aligned with dharma; devotion expressed as recollection becomes an ethical force that guides conduct.
Vaiśampāyana describes Hanumān moving along his route while repeatedly recalling the incomparable splendor of the hero’s form and, especially, the extraordinary greatness and active power of Rāma, Daśaratha’s son.
