The verse models an ethical posture of learning and instruction: sincere curiosity is met with a promise of complete, orderly explanation. It highlights humility in inquiry and responsibility in teaching—knowledge should be shared fully and clearly when sought for understanding.
Hanuman addresses a Pāṇḍava hero (commonly understood in this episode as Bhīma) who has expressed curiosity about Hanuman’s knowledge or experience. Hanuman invites him to listen and announces that he will relate everything in full, setting up a longer explanatory discourse.
