गन्धमादन-हिमवत्प्रयाणे युधिष्ठिर-भीमसंवादः

इति मे वर्तते बुद्धिर्मा राजन् विमना भव | सुकुमारौ तथा वीरौ माद्रीनन्दिकरावुभौ । दुर्गे संतारयिष्यामि यत्राशक्तौ भविष्यत:,राजन! मेरा ऐसा ही विचार है, आप उदास न हों। वीर माद्रीकुमार नकुल और सहदेव दोनों सुकुमार हैं। जहाँ कहीं दुर्गम स्थानमें ये असमर्थ हो जायँगे वहाँ मैं इन्हें पार लगाऊँगा
iti me vartate buddhir mā rājan vimanā bhava | sukumārau tathā vīrau mādrīnandikarāv ubhau | durge santārayiṣyāmi yatrāśaktau bhaviṣyataḥ ||
„Dies ist der Entschluss, der fest in meinem Sinn steht; o König, sei nicht niedergeschlagen. Nakula und Sahadeva, die beiden heldenhaften Söhne Mādrīs, sind trotz ihrer Tapferkeit von zarter Konstitution. Wo immer der Weg gefährlich wird und sie nicht weiterkönnen, werde ich sie sicher hinüberbringen.“
