यवक्रीत-वधः
The Slaying of Yavakrīta at Raibhya’s Hermitage
ततः समभवद् रक्षो घोराक्षं भीमदर्शनम् । अब्रूतां तौ तदा रैभ्यं कि कार्य करवावहै,उससे एक राक्षस प्रकट हुआ, जिसकी आँखें बड़ी डरावनी थीं। वह देखनेमें बड़ा भयानक प्रतीत होता था। उस समय उन दोनोंने रैभ्य मुनिसे पूछा--“'हम आपकी किस आज्ञाका पालन करें?”
tataḥ samabhavad rakṣo ghorākṣaṃ bhīmadarśanam | abrūtāṃ tau tadā raibhyaṃ kiṃ kāryaṃ karavāvahai ||
Da erschien ein Rākṣasa, schrecklichäugig und furchtbar anzusehen. In jenem Augenblick wandten sich die beiden an den Weisen Raibhya und fragten: „Welche Aufgabe sollen wir in Gehorsam gegenüber deinem Befehl ausführen?“
