मैत्रेयागमनम् — The Arrival of Maitreya and the Admonition to Duryodhana
सो<5यमासादितो दिष्ट्या भ्रातृहा काड्क्षितश्चिरम् । अनेन हि मम भ्राता बको विनिहत: प्रिय:,“आज सौभाग्यवश यह स्वयं मेरे यहाँ आ पहुँचा। भीम मेरे भाईका हत्यारा है, मैं बहुत दिनोंसे इसकी खोजमें था। राजन्! इसने (एकचक्रा नगरीके पास) वैत्रकीयवनमें ब्राह्मणका कपटवेष धारण करके वेदोक्त मन्त्ररूप विद्याबलका आश्रय ले मेरे प्यारे भाई बकासुरका वध किया था; वह इसका अपना बल नहीं था
so ’yam āsādito diṣṭyā bhrātṛhā kāṅkṣitaś ciram | anena hi mama bhrātā bako vinihataḥ priyaḥ ||
„Durch glückliche Fügung ist dieser Mann nun in meine Reichweite geraten. Er ist der Mörder meines Bruders—den ich seit langem suche. Denn durch ihn wurde mein lieber Bruder Baka erschlagen.“
