भीमसेनवधार्थ हि नित्यमभ्युद्यतायुध: । चरामि पृथिवीं कृत्स्नां नैनं चासादयाम्यहम्,“मैं प्रतिदिन हथियार उठाये भीमसेनका वध करनेके लिये सारी पृथ्वीपर विचरता था; किंतु यह मुझे मिल नहीं रहा था
bhīmasenavadhārtha hi nityam abhyudyatāyudhaḥ | carāmi pṛthivīṁ kṛtsnāṁ nainaṁ cāsādayāmy aham ||
„Wahrlich, mit stets erhobenen Waffen, um Bhīmasena zu töten, durchstreifte ich die ganze Erde; doch ich konnte ihn nicht aufspüren.“
