मैत्रेयागमनम् — The Arrival of Maitreya and the Admonition to Duryodhana

तस्योरुवाताभिहतास्ताम्रपल्लवबाहव: । विदूरजाताश्न लता: समाश्लिष्यन्ति पादपान्‌,उसकी जाँघोंकी हवाके वेगसे आहत हो ताम्रवर्णके पल्‍लवरूपी बाँहोंद्वारा सुशोभित दूरकी लताएँ भी मानो वृक्षोंसे लिपटी जाती थीं

tasyoruvātābhihatās tāmrāpallavabāhavaḥ | vidūrajātāś ca latāḥ samāśliṣyanti pādapān ||

Von den gewaltigen Böen getroffen, die seine Schenkel aufwirbelten, schienen die fern entsprossenen Ranken—geschmückt, als hätten sie Arme aus kupferrot zarten Blättern—sich fest an die Bäume zu klammern.
