त्रिदशांश्षाप्पबाधन्त तथा गन्धर्वराक्षसान् | सर्वाणि चैव भूतानि शूरा: समरशालिन:,समरभूमिमें शोभा पानेवाले वे शूरवीर राजकुमार देवताओं, गन्धर्वों, राक्षसों तथा सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंको कष्ट दिया करते थे
tridaśān śāpabādhanta tathā gandharvarākṣasān | sarvāṇi caiva bhūtāni śūrāḥ samarśālinaḥ ||
Jene heldenhaften Prinzen—glänzend auf dem Schlachtfeld—waren so wild, dass sie selbst die Götter bedrängten, ebenso Gandharvas und Rākṣasas; ja, sie fügten allen Arten von Wesen Leid zu.
