Power and heroism are ethically validated when they serve loka-hita—relieving suffering and restoring safety for all. The verse praises not mere victory, but the compassionate outcome: the worlds’ welfare achieved through the hero’s grace and disciplined power (tejas).
Lokasha addresses a revered figure, crediting them with bringing great happiness to the worlds because the fierce Kāleya demons have been destroyed by that person’s tejas (radiant power). It is a moment of gratitude and recognition of protection after a demonic threat is removed.
