Transliteration

viṣṇur uvāca—viditaṃ me surāḥ sarvaṃ prajānāṃ kṣaya-kāraṇam | bhavatāṃ cāpi vakṣyāmi śṛṇudhvaṃ vigata-jvarāḥ ||

Translation

Viṣṇu sprach: „O Götter, mir ist die Ursache, die zur Vernichtung der Lebewesen entstanden ist, vollständig bekannt. Ich werde sie auch euch darlegen; hört zu mit einem Geist, frei von Unruhe und Furcht.“
