Kāleya-Āśrama-Vināśaḥ — The Kāleyas’ nocturnal raids and the devas’ supplication to Nārāyaṇa
प्रह्ृष्टरूपा कश्ष॒ जयाय देवा- स्त्वष्टारमागम्य तमर्थमूचु: । त्वष्टा तु तेषां वचन निशम्य प्रह्ृष्टरूप: प्रयत: प्रयत्नात्
prahṛṣṭarūpā kaśyapāya devās tvaṣṭāram āgamya tam artham ūcuḥ | tvaṣṭā tu teṣāṃ vacanaṃ niśamya prahṛṣṭarūpaḥ prayataḥ prayatnāt ||
Lomāśa sprach: Die Götter, deren Antlitz vor Freude erstrahlte, traten zu Tvaṣṭṛ und teilten ihm ihr Vorhaben mit. Als Tvaṣṭṛ ihre Worte vernommen hatte, machte auch er sich erfreut daran, die Aufgabe mit Zucht, Sorgfalt und bedachtem Eifer auszuführen.
