Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)
सा दृष्टवा कृष्णमायान्तं प्रसन्नादित्यवर्चसम् । कण्ठे गृहीत्वा प्राक्रोशत् स्मरन््ती तनयान् पृथा,निर्मल सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी श्रीकृष्णको आते देख कुन्तीदेवी उनके गले लग गयीं और अपने पुत्रोंको याद करके फ़ूट-फ़ूटकर रोने लगीं
sā dṛṣṭvā kṛṣṇam āyāntaṃ prasannādityavarcasaṃ | kaṇṭhe gṛhītvā prākrośat smarantī tanayān pṛthā ||
Als Pṛthā (Kuntī) Kṛṣṇa herankommen sah, strahlend wie die klare, glückverheißende Sonne, umfasste sie seinen Hals und stieß einen Klageruf aus; und im Gedenken an ihre Söhne brach sie in Tränen aus.
