Sainyasaṅgraha and Bhāga-Vyavasthā (Forces Assembled and Rival Allocations) | सैन्यसंग्रह-भागव्यवस्था
यतो नारोचयदयं विग्रहं तैर्महात्मभि: । पुत्रोंसहित धर्मज्ञ एवं यशस्वी महात्मा पाण्डव कितने बलशाली हैं
yato nārocayad ayaṁ vigrahaṁ tair mahātmabhiḥ |
Duryodhana sagte: „Weil Bhīṣma es nicht billigte, gegen jene großherzigen Männer Feindseligkeiten zu eröffnen. Er weiß genau, wie mächtig der dharmakundige und ruhmreiche Pāṇḍava ist, zusammen mit seinen Söhnen; darum gefiel ihm der Gedanke nicht, den Krieg gegen so edle Gegner zu eröffnen.“
