Duryodhana’s Reassurance and Force-Praise to Dhritarashtra

तत्समाश्न महेष्वासा द्रोणद्रौणिकृपा अपि । संशप्तकानां वृन्दानि क्षत्रियाणां परंतप

Transliteration

tat samāśna maheṣvāsā droṇa-drauṇi-kṛpā api | saṁśaptakānāṁ vṛndāni kṣatriyāṇāṁ paraṁtapa

Translation

Duryodhana sagte: „Dort werden jene großen Bogenschützen—Droṇa, Droṇas Sohn (Aśvatthāmā) und auch Kṛpa—ihre Stellungen einnehmen; und die Scharen der kṣatriyischen Saṁśaptakas, o Feindverbrenner, werden ebenfalls in Schlachtordnung aufgestellt.“
