एष क्रान्ते रथे तिष्ठन् भल्लेनापाहरच्छिर: । जम्भस्य ग्रसमानस्य तदा हार्जुन आहवे
eṣa krānte rathe tiṣṭhan bhallena apāharac chiraḥ | jambhasya grasamānasya tadā hārjuna āhave ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Da schlug Hārjuna, obgleich er auf einem schnell kreisenden Wagen mitten im Kampf stand, mit einem scharfen Pfeil dem Asura Jambha, der alles vor sich verschlang, das Haupt ab.
