Sanatsujāta on the Imperceptible Eternal Light (यत्तच्छुक्रं महज्ज्योतिः)
आत्मैव स्थानं मम जन्म चात्मा ओतप्रोतो5हमजरप्रतिष्ठ: । अजकश्षरो दिवारात्रमतन्द्रितो 5हं मां विज्ञाय कविरास्ते प्रसन्न:
ātmaiva sthānaṃ mama janma cātmā otaproto 'ham ajara-pratiṣṭhaḥ | ajaḥ kṣaro divārātram atandrito 'haṃ māṃ vijñāya kavir āste prasannaḥ ||
Sanatsujāta verkündet über das Selbst: „Das Selbst allein ist meine Wohnstatt, und das Selbst allein ist mein Ursprung. Ich durchdringe alle Wesen, in sie eingewoben, und doch stehe ich gegründet in einer Majestät, die nicht altert, stets neu. Ungeboren, gegenwärtig als das Bewegte und das Unbewegte, und immer wach bei Tag und bei Nacht—wer mich so erkennt, der weise Seher, verweilt in tiefer Gelassenheit.“
