Udyoga-parva 35
Vidura underscores that dharmic life is expressed through reverent, faith-filled conduct—especially honouring others through proper reception and offerings. Acts done with śraddhā and satkāra become markers of the righteous and generate puṇya.
Vidura addresses the king and concludes a sequence of ethical instruction by describing how, in the households of virtuous people, offerings and honours are presented with deep faith as part of established righteous practice.
