अम्बाया रामजामदग्न्यशरणगमनम्

Ambā Seeks Refuge with Rāma Jāmadagnya

अथापगेयं भीष्म त्वं रामेणेच्छसि धीमता । रणे विनिर्जिति द्रष्टं कुर्यात्‌ तदपि भार्गव:,अथवा यदि तुम गंगानन्दन भीष्मको बुद्धिमान्‌ परशुरामजीके द्वारा युद्धमें पराजित देखना चाहती हो तो वे महात्मा भार्गव यह भी कर सकते हैं

athāpageyaṃ bhīṣma tvaṃ rāmeṇecchasi dhīmatā | raṇe vinirjiti draṣṭuṃ kuryāt tad api bhārgavaḥ ||

„Oder wenn du sehen willst, wie Bhīṣma, der Sohn der Gaṅgā, im Kampf vom weisen Rāma (Paraśurāma) besiegt wird, so vermag der große Bhārgava auch dies zu tun.“
