एतस्य समर दृष्टवा न व्यथास्ति कथज्चन । उत्स्मयन्नुत्पतत्येष परान् रथपथे स्थितान्
etasya samare dṛṣṭvā na vyathāsti kathañcana | utsmayann utpataty eṣa parān rathapathe sthitān ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „Sieht man ihn im Getümmel der Schlacht, so ist in ihm keinerlei Beben. Lächelnd springt er vor auf die Feinde, die auf der Wagenbahn in Reihen stehen.“
