क्रोधो बल॑ तथा वीर्य ज्ञानयोगो<स्त्रलाघवम् | इह ते दृश्यतां पार्थ युद्धयस्व पुरुषो भव,'पार्थ! यहाँ लोग तुम्हारे क्रोध, बल, वीर्य, ज्ञानयोग और अस्त्र चलानेकी फुर्ती आदि गुणोंको देखें। युद्ध करो और अपने पुरुषत्वका परिचय दो
krodho balaṁ tathā vīryaṁ jñānayogo 'stralāghavam | iha te dṛśyatāṁ pārtha yudhyasva puruṣo bhava ||
Sañjaya sprach: „O Pārtha, lass hier deinen Zorn, deine Kraft, deinen Heldenmut, deine geschulte Einsicht und deine flinke Meisterschaft im Waffengebrauch sichtbar werden. Kämpfe und erweise dich als wahrer Mann.“
