उलूकदूतवाक्यम् / Ulūka’s Message to the Pāṇḍavas
ध्वजेनादित्यवर्णेन प्रविवेश महाचमूम् । उसने कवच, धनुष, दस्ताने, खड़ग और तरकस धारण किये सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी ध्वजके साथ पाण्डवोंकी विशाल सेनामें प्रवेश किया
dhvajenādityavarṇena praviveśa mahācāmūm |
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Mit einem Banner, strahlend wie die Sonne, trat er in das gewaltige Heer ein—voll gerüstet mit Harnisch, Bogen, Handschuhen, Schwert und Köcher—und sein Auftreten war von sonnenhafter Leuchtkraft gezeichnet, als er in das große Aufgebot der Pāṇḍavas schritt.
