Sāma–Bheda–Daṇḍa
यादवानां कुलकरो बलवान् वीर्यसम्मत: । अवमेने स तु क्षत्रं दर्पपूर्ण: सुमन्दधी:,“वे बलवान, उत्तम पराक्रमसे सम्पन्न एवं यादवोंके वंशप्रवर्तक हुए थे। उनकी बुद्धि बड़ी मन्द थी और उन्होंने घमंडमें आकर समस्त क्षत्रियोंका अपमान किया था
yādavānāṃ kulakaro balavān vīryasammataḥ | avamene sa tu kṣatraṃ darpapūrṇaḥ sumandadhīḥ ||
Vāyu sprach: „Er war der Begründer der Yādava-Linie, von großer Kraft und für seine Tapferkeit anerkannt. Doch mit stumpfem Verstand und von Hochmut geschwollen ging er so weit, den ganzen Stand der Kṣatriyas zu beleidigen.“
