भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana
पित्र्यमंशं प्रणष्टं च पुनरप्युद्धरिष्यति । भ्रातृभि: सहित: श्रीमांस्त्रीन् मेधानाहरिष्यति,“तेरा यह पुत्र भगवान् श्रीकृष्णके साथ रहकर इस भूमण्डलको जीत लेगा, इसका यश स्वर्गलेकतक फैल जायगा और यह संग्राममें विपक्षी कौरवोंको मारकर अपने पैतृक राज्यभागका पुनरुद्धार करेगा। यह शोभासम्पन्न बालक अपने भाइयोंके साथ तीन अश्वमेधयज्ञोंका अनुष्ठान करेगा”
pitryam aṁśaṁ praṇaṣṭaṁ ca punar apy uddhariṣyati | bhrātṛbhiḥ sahitaḥ śrīmāṁs trīn medhān āhariṣyati |
„Er wird den verlorenen Anteil am väterlichen Erbe wiedergewinnen. Ruhmreich und begütert, und von seinen Brüdern begleitet, wird er zudem drei Aśvamedha-Opfer vollziehen lassen.“
