उद्योगपर्व अध्याय १३३ — संजये मातृउपदेशः
Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
नास्मिन् जातु कुले जातो गच्छेद् यो$न्यस्थ पृष्ठत:
nāsmin jātu kule jāto gacched yo 'nyastha-pṛṣṭhataḥ
Der Sohn erklärte: „Niemals—niemand, der in dieser Linie geboren ist—würde sich abwenden und fortgehen, den Rücken zu einer anderen Seite gewandt.“ Die Aussage bekräftigt eine ererbte Ethik der Standhaftigkeit: Man darf die eigene Seite nicht verlassen und nicht auf entehrende Weise zurückweichen, besonders wenn Dharma und Familienruhm auf dem Spiel stehen.
