Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
स्वर्गद्वारोपमं राज्यमथवाप्यमृतोपमम् | युद्धमेकायनं मत्वा पतोल्मुक इवारिषु
svargadvāropamaṃ rājyam athavāpy amṛtopamam | yuddham ekāyanaṃ matvā patolmuḳa ivāriṣu ||
O Sohn, halte den Kampf für den einzigen sicheren Weg, ein Reich zu erlangen, das dem Tor zum Himmel gleicht—ja, einem Zustand gleich dem Nektar—und stürze dich auf die Feinde wie ein lodernder Brand.
