Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
यदैव लभते वीर: सुयुद्धेन महद् यश: । तदैव प्रव्यथन्ते5स्य शत्रवों विनमन्ति च
yadaiva labhate vīraḥ suyuddhena mahad yaśaḥ | tadaiva pravyathante 'sya śatravo vinamanti ca ||
Wenn ein Held durch einen wahrhaft vortrefflichen Kampf großen Ruhm erlangt, dann werden in eben diesem Augenblick seine Feinde erschüttert; ihr Mut schwindet, und sie senken vor ihm das Haupt.
