Gālava Completes the Horse-Gift: Garuḍa’s Counsel and Viśvāmitra’s Acceptance (गालव-विष्वामित्र-सम्बन्धः)

शते द्वे तु ममाश्वानामीदृशानां द्विजोत्तम | इतरेषां सहस्राणि सुबहूनि चरन्ति मे

śate dve tu mamāśvānām īdṛśānāṃ dvijottama | itareṣāṃ sahasrāṇi subahūni caranti me ||

Nārada sprach: „O Bester der Brahmanen, von der Art Pferde, nach der du verlangst, besitze ich nur zweihundert. Von anderen Rassen aber streifen viele Tausende in meinem Besitz umher.“
