हन्त यत् ते प्रवक्ष्यामि तच्छुणुष्व समाहित: । ऋषीणां देवतानां च सम्भवं वसुधातले
hanta yat te pravakṣyāmi tac chṛṇuṣva samāhitaḥ | ṛṣīṇāṃ devatānāṃ ca sambhavaṃ vasudhātale ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „So komm denn—höre mit gesammelt ruhigem Geist, was ich dir sagen werde. Mit Klarheit und Wohlwollen will ich die Erscheinung und Herkunft der Seher und der Götter auf der Erde darlegen.“
