अखिल सहसा राजा प्रष्टमैच्छद् युधिष्ठिर: । ततो<स्य भगवानिन्द्र: कथयामास देवराट्
akhilaṃ sahasā rājā praṣṭum aicchad yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | tato 'sya bhagavān indraḥ kathayāmāsa devarāṭ ||
König Yudhiṣṭhira wollte plötzlich über alles in voller Ausführlichkeit fragen. Da begann der selige Indra, der Herrscher der Götter, ihm alles zu erklären — jedes Anliegen vorzustellen und zu erhellen, noch ehe die Fragen gestellt waren, wie ein mitfühlender Führer für einen, der moralisches Verständnis sucht.
