Nāgendra–Brāhmaṇa Saṃvāda: Praśna-vidhi and Dharmic Approach on the Gomatī Riverbank

निरीक्ष्य चासुरेन्द्री तौ ततो युद्धे मनो दे । इस प्रकार बातचीत करके उन दोनोंने भगवान्‌को जगाया। उन्हें युद्धके लिये उत्सुक जान भगवान्‌ पुरुषोत्तम जाग उठे। फिर उन दोनों असुरेन्द्रोंका अच्छी तरह निरीक्षण करके उन्होंने मन-ही-मन उनके साथ युद्ध करनेका निश्चय किया ।।

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca |

Nirīkṣya cāsurendrī tau tato yuddhe mano dadhe |

Atha yuddhe samabhavat tayor Nārāyaṇasya vai ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: Nachdem er jene beiden Herren der Asuras sorgfältig betrachtet hatte, richtete er seinen Sinn auf den Kampf. Daraufhin erhob sich wahrlich eine Schlacht zwischen jenen beiden und Nārāyaṇa.
