Nāgendra–Brāhmaṇa Saṃvāda: Praśna-vidhi and Dharmic Approach on the Gomatī Riverbank
व्यक्ताव्यक्तकराचिन्त्य क्षेमं पन्थानमास्थित । विश्वभुक् सर्वभूतानामन्तरात्मन्नयोनिज । अहं प्रसादजस्तुभ्यं लोकधाम स्वयम्भुव:
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: vyaktāvyaktakarācintya kṣemaṃ panthānam āsthitaḥ | viśvabhuk sarvabhūtānām antarātmann ayonija | ahaṃ prasādajas tubhyaṃ lokadhāma svayambhuvaḥ ||
„O unbegreiflicher Herr, der sowohl die manifeste Welt als auch den unmanifesten Ursprung (avyakta) hervorbringt: Dein Wesen ist undenkbar. Du verweilst auf dem glückverheißenden Pfad von Frieden und Wohlergehen. Erhalter des Alls, inneres Selbst aller Wesen, aus keinem Schoß geboren, Grund der Welten, selbstseiend—durch Deine Gnade bin ich geworden.“
वैशग्पायन उवाच
The verse praises the Supreme as the inconceivable source of both the manifest cosmos and the unmanifest principle, emphasizing divine self-existence, immanence as the inner Self of all beings, and the idea that spiritual authority or existence can be understood as arising through divine grace.
Vaiśaṃpāyana, in a laudatory address, describes the Lord’s cosmic status—creator of manifest and unmanifest, sustainer, indweller, unborn—and declares himself to be produced through that Lord’s grace, framing the discourse in reverence and metaphysical affirmation.
