धर्मद्वारबहुत्वविमर्शः — Reflection on the Many ‘Doors’ of Dharma (Śānti-parva 342)
ब्रह्माणं शितिकण्ठं च याश्षान्या देवता: स्मृता: । प्रबुद्धचर्या: सेवन्तो मामेवैष्यन्ति यत् परम्
Brahmāṇaṁ Śitikaṇṭhaṁ ca yāś cānyā devatāḥ smṛtāḥ | prabuddha-caryāḥ sevanto mām evaiṣyanti yat param ||
Arjuna sprach: „Wer mit erwachter Disziplin des Handelns Brahmā, Śitikaṇṭha (Śiva) und welche anderen Gottheiten auch immer genannt werden verehrt, gelangt, selbst wenn er ihnen in selbstlosem Geist dient, am Ende zu mir allein — dem Höchsten.“
