धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)

जगौ परमकं जप्यं नारायणमुदीरयन्‌ | जो हमारे परमगुरु मुनिवर श्रीकृष्णद्वैपायन व्यास हैं, वे भी परम उत्तम नारायणमन्त्रका जप करते हुए निरन्तर उनकी महिमाका गान करते रहते हैं

vaiśampāyana uvāca | jagau paramakaṃ japyaṃ nārāyaṇam udīrayan |

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Indem er den Namen Nārāyaṇa ausrief, sang er jene höchste, am meisten zu wiederholende heilige Formel. Der Sinn ist: Selbst der erhabenste Lehrer —der Weise Śrī Kṛṣṇa Dvaipāyana Vyāsa— übt unablässig die Japa des vortrefflichen Nārāyaṇa-Mantras und preist fortwährend Seine Größe, indem er Hingabe und Gedenken als höchste Disziplin erachtet.“
