कृताञ्जलिपुटा हृष्टा नम इत्येव वादिन: । “तदनन्तर वहाँके निवासी पुरुष बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ दोनों हाथ जोड़े “नमो नमः: कहते हुए एक ही साथ तीव्र गतिसे उस तेजकी ओर दौड़े
kṛtāñjalipuṭā hṛṣṭā nama ityeva vādinaḥ |
Bhīṣma sprach: „Daraufhin falteten die Bewohner jenes Ortes, von Freude erfüllt, die Hände in Ehrfurcht und riefen immerzu nur ‘namaḥ’ (‘Ehrerbietung’). In einem einzigen Ansturm eilten sie mit großer Geschwindigkeit auf jenes strahlende Leuchten zu—ein Bild spontaner Hingabe und gemeinschaftlicher Demut vor einer als göttlich und glückverheißend empfundenen Macht.“
