योडसौ वहति भूतानां विमानानि विहायसा । चतुर्थ: संवहो नाम वायु: स गिरिमर्दन:
yo 'sau vahati bhūtānāṁ vimānāni vihāyasā | caturthaḥ saṁvaho nāma vāyuḥ sa girimardanaḥ ||
Bhishma sprach: „Jener Wind, der die Luftwagen (vimānas) der Wesen durch den Himmel trägt—bekannt als der vierte Wind, Saṁvaha—ist ein ‚Zermalmer der Berge‘, eine gewaltige Kraft, die alles, was sich in der Höhe regt, trägt und vorwärtstreibt.“
