Nāmānirukta of Nārāyaṇa (Keśava–Viṣṇu–Vāsudeva) and the Rudra–Nārāyaṇa Unity Theme

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights ethical communication: counsel should be offered at the proper time (kāle) and with gentle, well-chosen words (madhurākṣarayā girā), reflecting dharmic restraint and respect.

Nārada arrives at a hermitage and sees the person there (understood in the Gītā Press gloss as Vyāsa). He then begins to speak to him, setting up the next instruction or message.
