अध्याय ३२३ — श्वेतद्वीपगमनम्, यज्ञभाग-विवादः, एकान्तिभक्त्या नारायणदर्शन-नियमः (Śvetadvīpa Journey; Dispute over Sacrificial Share; Rule of Nārāyaṇa-vision through Single-minded Devotion)
तस्मिन् दिव्ये वने रम्ये देवदेवर्षिसंकुले । आस्थित: परमं योगमृषि: पुत्रार्थमच्युत:
tasmin divye vane ramye devadevarṣi-saṅkule | āsthitaḥ paramaṃ yogam ṛṣiḥ putrārtham acyutaḥ ||
Bhishma sprach: In jenem strahlenden, lieblichen göttlichen Wald—von Göttern und himmlischen Rishis erfüllt—nahm der Weise, unbeirrbar, Zuflucht zur höchsten Disziplin des Yoga und übte Askese mit einem einzigen Ziel: einen Sohn zu erlangen.
