यत: सर्वा: प्रवर्तन्ते सर्गप्रलयविक्रिया: । यच्च शंसन्ति शास्त्रेषु वदन्ति परमर्षय:,संसारकी सृष्टि और प्रलयरूप सारे विकार उसीसे सम्भव होते हैं। महर्षि अपने शास्त्रोंमें उसीकी प्रशंसा करते हैं

yataḥ sarvāḥ pravartante sarga-pralaya-vikriyāḥ | yac ca śaṃsanti śāstreṣu vadanti paramarṣayaḥ ||

Bhīṣma sprach: Aus Ihm gehen alle Wandlungen hervor, die als Schöpfung und Auflösung erscheinen. Ihn preisen die Schriften, und Ihn verkünden die höchsten Seher — und weisen den Hörenden auf die höchste Quelle hinter dem wechselhaften Kreislauf des saṃsāra.
